WHO WE ARE
Made4Care provides personalised home care in Peterborough and Cambridge, alongside a welcoming Day Care Centre in Peterborough. We are here to support people and ease the pressure on families.
Everyone’s circumstances are different. We take time to listen, understand what matters to you and agree a care plan centred on your needs, strengths and preferences.
Whether you need assistance with personal care, practical help around the home or time with others, we help you explore suitable support and make informed choices.
OUR PURPOSE
To help people feel supported while continuing to make choices about how they live.
“Care with Compassion” guides the way we listen, plan and provide support.
WHAT MATTERS TO US
The way support is provided matters just as much as the tasks themselves. These principles guide our approach.
01
We approach support with kindness, patience and understanding, recognising the person behind every care need.
02
Your privacy, comfort, beliefs and personal preferences are considered when we plan and provide support.
03
We encourage you to do the things you can manage and support you to make decisions about your own life.
04
Your care plan reflects your routines, abilities and goals. There is no one-size-fits-all approach.
05
We explain the proposed support and charges, listen to questions and encourage you to tell us what is working.
06
We respect different backgrounds, cultures and ways of life, and discuss what helps you feel comfortable.
THE PEOPLE BEHIND YOUR CARE
We believe the quality of care is closely connected to the quality of our carers and the training they receive. We look for warmth, compassion and an enthusiasm for helping others, alongside suitability for the role.
Our commitment to staff development supports carers to build their knowledge and confidence. We welcome diversity within our team and discuss preferences that are important to your care.
TWO WAYS TO FEEL SUPPORTED
Our services offer different ways to receive support, enjoy company and make daily life more manageable.
From everyday help to longer periods of support, care is agreed around your routines, preferences and assessed needs.
Our Day Care Centre at 89 Fengate, Peterborough PE1 5BA brings people together for activities, hot meals and companionship, with daytime respite for family carers.
YOU REMAIN AT THE HEART OF YOUR CARE
Getting support should begin with understanding you. We explain each stage so you know what to expect.
01
Tell us what is becoming difficult, what you can manage independently and the support you would like. With your consent, family members can be involved.
02
An assessment helps us discuss tasks, routines, timing, staffing and proposed charges. We agree the arrangements before support begins.
03
Keep in touch with our team when something changes. We can discuss whether your care plan or support arrangements need to be reviewed.
Arranging care can feel like a big step. We are here to answer questions and talk through the choices. The person receiving care remains central to decisions, with family involvement guided by their wishes and consent.
